Interesting question. It seems like a complicated thing. 

Text generators give you any rights to the text you've generated, and you can use it for any purpose royalty-free and without warranty. You do not have to credit the writing tool anywhere. 

On the other side, the tools learn from millions of sites containing content in which many people hold the copyright. So to some extent, you use their work. But you cannot credit them, as it is just impossible to say what sources have been used, what piece of content has been taken, and how it has been changed within the neuronal network.
